Who Should Undergo NIPT?
NIPT is highly recommended for pregnant women presenting with one or more of the following risk factors:

- Support for Positive Results (Abnormalities Detected): In the event that the NIPT result detects a chromosomal abnormality, we provide financial support of up to 5,000,000 VND to facilitate a confirmatory diagnostic test (Amniocentesis and Karyotyping) before any further pregnancy management decisions are made.
- Procedure: To ensure objectivity, patients may undergo amniocentesis and karyotyping at any recognized medical facility. Simply submit the image of the valid invoice and the test results to Medic Saigon, and the support funds will be transferred immediately.
- Support for Carrier Screening (ProNIPT 24+ Package): If the test detects that the mother is a carrier of genes causing Thalassemia or 4 other hereditary conditions transmissible to the child, we offer complimentary testing for the husband (partner) and the newborn.
- Insurance Policy for “False Negative” Results:
- Post-Birth: If the NIPT result is reported as Normal (Low Risk), but the newborn is later confirmed (via Karyotype) to carry Trisomy 13, 18, or 21 (conditions included in the screening), an insurance payout of 200,000,000 VND will be provided.
- During Pregnancy: If the NIPT result is Normal, but subsequent ultrasound findings lead the physician to suspect Down, Edwards, or Patau syndromes, causing concern for the expectant mother and the doctor: Should you choose to undergo diagnostic amniocentesis and the results contradict the NIPT findings, we will provide financial support of 30,000,000 VND.
